Marcie: How did you guys get your spiffy name and where and how did you all meet?
RC: We met while in college at Liberty University. A friend of ours suggested
the name to us because he said that was what we were trying to cause.
Marcie: Whats are each of your favorite songs on the album?
RC: Chris - The Way I Am, Nathan - Know You Better, Rod - Midnight Confessions, Dave - Masquerade
Marcie: What inspired "Plastic"?
RC: After moving to Nashville, we realized that there were a lot of people here
that could say all the right things and lived opposite of what they said. We
just wanted to do a song that would remind us to keep ourselves in line with
Christ and live what we say in our songs and on stage.
Marcie: In what ways can touring sometimes affect your family life and time with God?
RC: It can be tough because we don't always get the opportunity to go to church.
We've established a system of accountability and we get together on the bus to
do devotions together. Family life can be tough at times, but when we're home
we make being at home an emphasis.
Marcie: A little off the serious side... What cartoon character best describes each of you?
RC: Chris - Speed Racer, Rod - El Slopoke, Nathan - Johnny Quest, Dave - Road Runner
Marcie: Who are some of you favorite artists in the Christian Music Industry?
RC: Grits, Switchfoot, Erace, Rich Mullins
Marcie: What would you like to say to all those people out there considering buying your album?
RC: Please buy it, cause rent is due soon!
Welp...there ya have it... Reality Check is indeed a spiffy band...go see 'em live... you'll love 'em! God Bless!!
